We’re looking for a Staff Data Engineer to help us build the foundational data infrastructure that powers everything from our recommendation engine to user insights and operational reporting.

🛠 What You'll Do

As a Staff Data Engineer at Fig, you will build and help lead our data & analytics solution:

Business Intelligence & Analytics

• Design and build our unified data warehouse architecture in Snowflake — creating a single source of truth across marketing, product, and revenue data
• Build attribution models connecting marketing spend (Meta, TikTok, Google, Apple Search Ads) to trials, conversions, and LTV
• Create user journey analytics from first touch through subscription, enabling optimization across web and app
• Develop segmentation infrastructure to power cohort analysis and targeted marketing
• Build self-service dashboards in Hex for marketing, product, and executive teams

Data Platform & Pipelines

• Architect and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines ingesting data from Amplitude, Segment, Singular, Branch, RevenueCat, and web analytics
• Evolve our dbt models for data transformation, testing, and documentation
• Implement data quality frameworks with monitoring, alerting, and observability
