We’re looking for a Senior Data Engineer to help us build the foundational data infrastructure that powers everything from our recommendation engine to user insights and operational reporting.

🛠 What You’ll Do

As a Senior Data Engineer at Fig, you will:

• Design and maintain our data architecture, including data models, ETL pipelines, and data warehouse.
• Build scalable ingestion pipelines for both structured and semi-structured data across a variety of sources.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with product, engineering, and growth to support data-informed decision-making.
• Develop and manage orchestration tools (e.g., Airflow, Dagster) to run and monitor jobs in production.
• Maintain and evolve our cloud data stack (e.g., Snowflake, dbt, Fivetran, AWS/GCP).
• Establish best practices around data governance, testing, privacy, and observability.
• Contribute to architectural decisions and help lay the foundation for a high-performance, analytics-first company culture.

🧠 Who You Are

• 3–5+ years of experience as a Data Engineer or similar role.
• Strong SQL and Python skills, and experience with modern ELT tools (e.g., dbt, Fivetran, Airbyte).
• Experience with cloud data platforms (Snowflake, Databricks, Redshift) and cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP).
